Overview

The Federation’s Health & Safety Committee consists of representatives from Member companies and other industry related organisations, including HSE, who meet regularly to consult, support and promote the interest of occupational health and safety in the bread baking sector. It represents the interests of the Federation in consultations with the enforcement authorities and other external organisations in matters of common interest relevant to occupational health and safety.

The work of the Health & Safety Committee continues to be a vital element of the Federation’s service to members.

In sharing expertise, the Health & Safety Committee representatives seek to monitor and improve health and safety in the workplace as well as encourage improvements in health and safety to all businesses in the sector.
